The claim's sole load-bearing supporting premise (b19391af, "Accretion by micro black holes inside dense stars is limited by the Eddington luminosity", REQUIRES) received its first assessment: CONTRADICTED, confidence 0.9, credence ~0.04, on trapped-radiation/hyper-Eddington grounds uniform across the literature (Giddings & Mangano 2008; East & Lehner 2019; Richards, Baumgarte & Shapiro 2021). Materiality judgment: material to the numbers, not the status. The prior verdict was already CONTRADICTED at 0.75, with confidence explicitly held down because this premise was unassessed. That reservation is now resolved in the direction the prior verdict anticipated, and on physics grounds (radiation trapping and advection in optically thick degenerate interiors) independent of the scale-mismatch objection the prior assessment leaned on. Re-recorded CONTRADICTED with confidence 0.88 and credence 0.05 (down from 0.12); the residual parameter-space reservation is largely closed.     This claim is the central technical premise of Rainer Plaga's 2008 argument that metastable micro black holes, hypothetically produced at particle colliders, could be dangerous while leaving no trace in astronomical data. The idea is that if such a black hole's accretion inside a white dwarf or neutron star were capped at the Eddington luminosity, the star's destruction would take vastly longer than observed stellar ages and the hole's emission would be too faint to detect, so the survival of old dense stars would place no constraint on the scenario. The weight of the evidence is against it. Giddings and Mangano, whose astrophysical safety analysis the claim was aimed at, showed that the black holes in the relevant mass range of roughly 1 to 100,000 kilograms have radii between 10^-25 and 10^-20 centimeters, far below the scales at which the macroscopic Eddington-limit argument applies, and that the scenario's radiated-power figure rests on applying the Casadio–Harms evaporation model outside its domain, overstating the consistent result by about twenty-three orders of magnitude. They further observed that the scenario is internally inconsistent: a black hole radiating energy equivalent to twelve megatons of TNT per second inside Earth would be conspicuously luminous inside far denser stars, so the same objects cannot be both dangerous here and invisible there. Casadio, Fabi and Harms, the authors of the model Plaga relied on, published their own analysis reaching conclusions in line with Giddings and Mangano rather than with Plaga. Plaga answered the rebuttal in an appendix to his revised paper, maintaining that the objection mischaracterized his calculation, and one later commentator noted that Giddings and Mangano never explicitly addressed a secondary point about black-hole size relative to the Planck scale. That reply remains unpublished and unrefereed, and no independent analysis has vindicated the evasion mechanism. A demonstration that Eddington-limited accretion genuinely governs microscopic black holes in dense stellar matter, within a consistently applied model, would reopen the question; none has appeared.
